Program staff communicate with families on at least a weekly basis regarding children's activities and developmental milestones, shared care-giving issues, and other information that affects the well-being and development of their children. Where in-person communication is not possible, program staff communicate through established alternative means.
The Tree House staff communicate to parents daily about the lives of their children. Our conversations include (but are not limited to) any developmental milestones or issues that may have occurred throughout their day as well as any information the parent deems important for us to know about of their lives at home. Notices are posted on the parent sign-in table and e-mail is the preferred method used (The Tree House is paperless) to let parents know of any special events or important information. For emergencies, phone conversations are encouraged and to view daily activities or activites that are related to the curriculum, parents are encouraged to view the classroom blog. The Tree House has a written communication policy that is given out in our Welcome Packet at the beginning of each new school year. To view the Tree House's Communication Policy, click here.
The Parent's information/sign-in area in the classroom.
Every child is given a mailbox located under the sign-in table, all paper notices/information may be sent home via their mailboxes. However, we do prefer to be paperless and typically special information is sent via e-mail.
